Fishing Charter

f1

How about enjoying fishing while cruising tropical blue water in outer reefs of Yap? Nature's Way offers several styles of fishing on charter bases; casting, trolling and bottom fishing, etc.

f2

Except for "local style" fishing that uses lures made by local materials and hand lines, we usually do not rent fishing equipment.

f3

Your Catches: For casting, basically please release all the fish that are able to survive, keeping only the fish too weak to survive. After any style of fishing, you may have the catch that will be enough for your dinner for the day, if you wish. Please let the boat captain handle the rest, and not waste the catch.

f4

No Fishing Zones: To help protect self-sustainable marine resources of Yap, there are several "Marine Protected Areas" (MPAs) where sport fishing activities are also prohibited. Besides, most Yap's reefs are owned and supervised by individuals & communities respectively. Please follow the boat captain for purpose of not entering those restricted areas.
